The Opportunity

As our client list continues to grow, we are in need of someone to help us manage our project workload. If you’ve always wanted to work in technology, this would be a great opportunity to get your foot in the door. We are more than happy to bust that door wide open for you.

What You'll Do

You would work closely with almost everyone in our company, but more directly with our sales team and support specialists. Your day-to-day responsibilities would be to:

  • Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
  • Identify and track project goals, progress, and deadlines
  • Work with our technical team to put solutions into motion
  • Gather pricing for equipment and draft estimates for clients
  • Place equipment orders and inventory deliveries once they arrive
  • Proactively communicate with clients and our team if delays occur
  • Manage smaller requests from existing clients and follow-up once tasks are completed

Ideal Candidate

This position does not require experience in the technology industry. If you genuinely enjoy working with people and solving problems for them, we can teach you the technical elements of this position. We are looking for someone with:

  • Strong roots in a customer experience field (hospitality, retail, services, etc.)
  • Excellent communication skills, can communicate effectively with clients and colleagues
  • Genuine satisfaction when projects and tasks are properly organized
  • Natural ability to build and maintain relationships with anyone you interact with
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, without getting overwhelmed
  • Someone who feels comfortable talking on the phone with clients
  • A very basic understanding of computer hardware and software
  • Prefers to “do things correctly,” rather than quickly

Requirements

  • Live in the Greater Des Moines Area
  • Available to work 40 hours a week
  • A valid driver’s license and vehicle for transportation
  • Capable of lifting and moving up to 30 lbs. of equipment

Why isn't this position remote?

Many of our larger projects require us to install equipment at the offices of our clients. While we offer flexibly work-from-home options, we’ve found that these projects go much smoother if we can collaborate in person. This also makes training and mentorship more effective as well.
